Welcome to smallcapseurope.com. This is a blog for all of those who are interested in investing in stocks with a long-term value investing approach.

I have always had a passion for investing and I very much enjoy the process of finding undervalued companies. I started investing seriously in 2015. Since then I have had good returns, but most importantly, I have learned a lot. And I keep learning, this is a never-ending process.

I decided to start this blog for two reasons. I think that by writing about and sharing my investment ideas, I will be more encouraged and motivated to do a better job. I hope this will translate in better company analysis and better returns for my portfolio. On the other hand, I would like to build a public track record.

At university, I did my degree in Business Management and right after I went for a Master in Financial Markets. Then I worked as a financial auditor for one of the Big Four and as a M&A analyst for a small investment bank in my country. Almost eight years ago I started my own business, which is not finance related. Back then, I came across one of the books that I have in the Books section of this blog and as soon as I had enough savings to have a diversified portfolio, I started investing by myself.
